Beautiful country hotel based around a historic manor house built on the family estates of the Agnesi family, dating from the 1930's in grand style and with a surrounding estate of 7 hectares . The hotel complex lies in the Maritime Alps about 30 minutes drive from the coast. The estate known as Prati Piani meaning flat pasture land is a suggestive rich alpine meadow, backing into woods and mountain peaks. There are 5 properties in the complex, the main historic villa with 5 double bedrooms of 514 mq the old farmhouse with 11 double bedrooms , a congress room of 140 mq and including a professional kitchen, is of 710 mq. There are two casa cantoniera, one of 70 mq with two guest apartments and the second of 65 mq, with one guest apartment. In addition there is a modern caretaker's house of 80 mq. The whole has been developed with great sensitivity for the original historic detail. Prati Piani has seen many famous guests among them Winston Churchill and many professional football teams trained here. It has been the site of many conferences, wedding parties, yoga retreats along with a sensational location for holidays, especially for those who enjoy mountain walking,mountain biking or just lovers of pure nature.

- The "Villa Padronale" and the "Casa Cantoniere" which are located on the east side of a quiet mountain road in an environment designed specifically for families.

—> Casa Cantoniera, or the road workers' dwelling, was built in 1935 and was the first of the three buildings. The house, originally built for road workers, subsequently housed the family staff and later the Albergo staff. Comprising two apartments, Casa Cantoniera has been recently renovated and equipped with a wood stove and under floor heating .The apartment has one bedroom sharing the entrance and large hall. It has an open plan kitchen, a shared laundry room which is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, microwave oven and freezer. It has a stereo and television with a satellite decoder for Astra channels. There is ample parking space on the premises.
The apartment looks onto the quiet little mountain road. The back view looks on to the Prati Piani garden.
Adjacent to the living room is the bathroom with shower and the bedroom. The bedroom is equipped with two single beds, a cupboard and writing desk.

The fattoria was formerly run on behalf of the family resident in the villa. When the villa was subsequently converted to a hotel, the products were used in the kitchen of the restaurant that is still widely famous for the quality of its ingredients. In the past, Prati Piani produced honey, wine and cheese. Cattle were raised and trout were bred in a basin in the little river in front of the villa. In the residential part of the building 12 rooms were for guestsThe fattoria has been recently renovated to a high standard. The hayloft of 10 by 12 metres is being rebuilt and has been converted for group/corporate activities e.g. training courses and workshops.
Prati Piani is located in the province of Imperia in Liguria close to the highest top of the Monte Grande – Colle di Ogia – that is part of the Alpes Maritime, between the villages of Carpasio (5 kilometres) and San Bernardo di Conio (3 kilometres), and at a distance of 20 kilometres from the sea (Arma di Taggia), 60 kilometres from Monaco and 80 kilometres from Nice.
