Just above Pigna runs the famous Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, a footpath running from France and traversing all of Liguria, eventually joining the Cinque Terre footpath, super panoramic walks with sea views from the high mountain level. Around Pigna there are many deep granite pools on the river to swim in summer. The medieval village has good food shops and restaurants, there is a spa at some 2 km distance.
